Privacy policy
Your notes are yours
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Online Notepad is designed with privacy in mind. This policy explains what information we do and do not collect when you use onlinenotepad.cloud.
Your notes stay on your device
When you write in Online Notepad, your text is saved to your browser's local storage on your own computer or phone. We do not upload, store, or have access to the content of your notes. There is no account system and no cloud sync.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal account to use the notepad. We do not read, transmit, or sell your note content.
Local storage
Notes and preferences (such as theme and font settings) are kept in your browser's local storage. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser data for this site. Downloading important notes as a .txt or .md file is a good backup.
Analytics and cookies
We aim to keep this site lightweight. If analytics or other third-party tools are added in the future, this page will be updated to describe them clearly.
